My latest exhibition is called "Blues falling down like hail" after a song by the great Delta blues musician Robert Johnson. The main theme in the paintings are blues - the feeling and the lives of those early black blues musicians in the Mississippi delta.

I am an old school oil painter, priming with dark colors and then lightening up the paintings with thin layers of paint, sometimes up to 40 layers, to give the picture a tangible feeling.
